This meeting is intended to bring together STM Librarians from different backgrounds (Academic, Government, Industry, and National Labs) from around New Mexico to brainstorm on the future and issues important to our community. The goal would then be to focus in on one or two specific areas where AISTI might help foster collaboration and innovation across our diverse institutions.
The votes are in for the top topics to investigate and discuss further at the meeting. (Full list of topics and overall votes)
The top topics that we will focus on for the meeting will be introduced by brief presentations as follows:
1. Scientific workflows & the library - Rob Olendorf (UNM)
2. Data management - Johannes Van Reenan (UNM)
3. Information integration & exploitation - James Powell (LANL)
4. Reinventing reference / outreach - Susan Awe (UNM)
5. Knowledge management - Miriam Blake (LANL)
BLOG with information from the meeting (presentations, etc.)
We then will organize into groups around these topics to focus our discussions for the day.
